The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra′s annual summer concert at the Waldbühne in Berlin is legendary. Recorded live on 25 June 2000, the Millenium concert gathered more than 22,000 people in one of the most appealing outdoor amphitheatres in Europe for one of the most popular classical music concerts in the world. This program bristling with verve and irresisible rhythm is presented by Nagano and the Berlin Philharmonic, who take US around the world on a musical journey featuing works by Jean Pascal Beintus, Maurice Ravel, Isao Matsushita, Eitetsu Hayashi.
