The 59th Annual Grammy Awards took place on February 12, 2017. The broadcast, as before, took place on the CBS television channel (Under a new contract until 2026). In the summer of 2016, organizers announced several changes to the winner selection procedure and the structure of some categories in the fields of rap, R&B and blues. The ceremony was hosted by British film actor James Corden for the first time.
